This is a terrific field watch and very well made. It's apparently an homage to the Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix, which lists for $14k and up, but I'm quite pleased with this Ash version at a fraction of the price.

The rugged case gives it a nice heft, and while the photos don't do justice to the beautiful Pacific blue dial, the distinctive brown leather strap Ashton provided perfectly suits the field watch style. Other details I appreciate include the prominent crown, the smooth winding, and the red-tipped second hand with the box-shaped end.

If this watch becomes available again, I highly recommend it to those who are drawn to its design and craftsmanship.
